SCOUTING
Cold-weather camping. Wilderness survival. Outdoor adventures. Life and leadership skills. Loyalty to country. Love of God. These are a few phrases that describe Scouting. During February, we celebrate Scouting Ministry Sunday, a special recognition of a ministry that enables children and youth to grow in favor with God and others. During the spring, the Scouts also celebrate the birthday of Scouting with the annual Blue and Gold Banquet. The Pinewood Derby is also a part of the spring calendar. Northside hosts scouting troops for both boys and girls.
