Northside's 75th Anniversary

Ministry and Mission in Buckhead Since November 5, 1950

75 Days of Serving God and Our Community | February 1 through April 17, 2026

Join us for 75 days of intentional service, where faith meets action! From February 1 through April 17, 2026, we invite you to participate in a transformative journey of serving God and our local community. Whether you are passionate about education, supporting our unhoused siblings, or repairing homes for families in need, there’s a place for you to serve. Northside Missions will partner with organizations like Peace Preparatory Academy, Covenant House, and Northside Cares to provide a wide range of service opportunities. This is more than volunteer work—it’s a chance to live out your faith, build relationships, and make a lasting impact. All are welcome. All are needed. How will you help us serve God during these 75 days? For more information, contact Rev. Angela House at AngelaH@NorthsideUMC.org.

Homecoming Sunday | March 15, 2026 at 10:00AM

Celebrate Northside’s 75th Anniversary season on Homecoming Sunday, March 15! All three services will unite for one worship at 10:00am in the Sanctuary, blending music and styles from across our church family. Alumni of the Youth Choir are invited to join current members for a special Homecoming Youth Choir for this special day of celebration. Following worship, stay for lunch and an old-fashioned hymn sing. Come worship, fellowship, and celebrate God’s faithfulness together! All are invited; no RSVP is needed for the congregation. Returning staff, clergy, and other featured guests, please RSVP here.

Stories, Blessings, & Photos

As we celebrate this momentous year, we are looking back at the last 75 years as well as ahead to the next 75. To commemorate the occasion, we are publishing a book of 75 Stories & Blessings in Spring 2026. We hope to include testimonies that tell the story of what Northside has meant to our community as well as blessings for the years ahead. We welcome submissions from members, former staff, current, community members, and mission partners. Word limit is 200 per entry.

We are also collecting old photographs relating to the life of our church. If you have a photograph to share, you may use the form below or drop it off at the church — we are happy to scan and return it to you. You can speak with Alejandra Bihr at the front desk or leave it in the Staff Work Room in Elisabeth Shabi’s box.
